At Sixteen Carats, every vintage-inspired coin pendant is meticulously inspected and packaged to ensure the highest standards of luxury. We stand by the quality of our bespoke pieces and have crafted our policies to provide a seamless, worry-free experience for our global clientele.
1. Order Cancellation Policy (12-Hour Window) Because our logistics team begins preparing your order for international dispatch almost immediately, we strictly accept order cancellations only within 12 hours of the purchase time.
To request a cancellation, you must contact us at info@sixteencarats.com within this 12-hour window.
Cancellations made successfully within 12 hours will be processed back to the original method of payment. Once this window has passed, the order is locked for fulfillment and cannot be canceled.
2. The Sixteen Carats "Worry-Free" Guarantee (Store Credit) We want you to love your jewelry. If a piece does not meet your expectations upon arrival, we eliminate the hassle of international return shipping. You do not need to ship the product back to us.
How it works: Simply contact us within 48 hours of tracked delivery. Once your claim is reviewed, you may keep the original jewelry piece, and we will credit your account with Sixteen Carats Points equal to the exact monetary value of your original purchase.
Redemption & Fair Use: These points do not expire and can be applied toward any different design in our current or upcoming collections. To protect the integrity of this courtesy, points issued under this guarantee cannot be used to redeem a duplicate of the originally purchased item. This policy is limited to one (1) claim per customer, per household.
3. Damaged or Defective Items (24-Hour Window) In the rare event that your piece arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 24 hours of the tracked delivery timestamp with clear photographs of the jewelry and the packaging. We will prioritize these cases and issue an exact replacement or the equivalent Sixteen Carats Points immediately upon verification, without requiring a physical return. Claims made outside of this 24-hour window will not be eligible for replacement.
4. Materials & Natural Wear Our vintage-inspired coin pendant necklaces are crafted using premium Brass, durable 304 Grade Stainless Steel, and finished with Electroplated Gold. Due to the nature of electroplated jewelry, the gold finish may naturally fade or tarnish over time depending on individual skin chemistry, frequency of wear, and exposure to environmental factors. Please note that tarnishing, fading of the electroplated finish, or discoloration caused by normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect. Therefore, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for items that have experienced natural plating wear.
